       Brittnee Siemon, mezzo-soprano, is a versatile and engaging musician with diverse talents ranging from performing and recording to directing, teaching, and conducting. Her accomplishments include premieres of early and modern works, a debut at Jordan Hall in Boston, and international appearances in Austria, Italy, Germany, Turkey, and Belize.

       Additional career highlights include the North American Premier of Bob Chilcott’s Christmas Oratorio, appearances with the National Conference of the Historical Keyboard Society of North America,

 distinguished alumni for the Centennial Celebration of Ohio University’s School of Music, and the International Muzio Clementi Conference in Lucca, Italy.  She continues to perform and collaborate regularly as a featured artist and clinician.  

Regionally, solo appearances are numerous.   Notable are Pan Harmonia of Asheville,

South Carolina Philharmonic, Augusta Symphony and Choral Society, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Music Center Symphony, Transylvania Choral Society, Asheville Baroque Concerts, and the St. Augustine Music Festival.

       She is the founder of Sounds At St. Philip’s, a chamber music series that features music artists from around the country and supports the growing Choral Scholar Program. 

     Dr. Siemon holds degrees in Voice Performance and Music Therapy, and carries Academic and Performance Distinction from Ohio University, the University of South Carolina, and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. While studying in Boston with Susan Fisher Clickner, she was awarded the prestigious Beneficent Society Scholarship, which lead to her award-winning European concert debut for a new composition on Mona Lisa radio in Amsterdam.

        Dr. Siemon has served on the voice faculty at Brevard College since 2016, and is currently the President of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She is recognized internationally for her teaching and scholarly endeavors. Recent invitations include collaborative programs at University of Michigan, SVSU in Flint, MI, Ohio, Sam Houston State, Virginia, Reinhardt, and Jacksonville Universities.
